Béla Bartók: "12 Duos
The 12 titles "Slovak Song", "Mocking Song", "Round Dance", "Cushion Dance", "Menuetto", "Ruthenian Song", "New Year's Song", "Fairy Tale", "Wallachian Song", "Hay Harvest Song", "Wedding Song" and "Ruthenian Kolomejka Dance" from the "44 Duos for 2 Violins" in an arrangement for violoncello and double bass. The pieces are not arranged in a fixed order, but are available in a kind of "loose-leaf order", so that the sequence can be determined individually. The level of difficulty of the pieces covers the whole range from easy to very difficult. These arrangements are not identical with those for violin and double bass (see below).
