For each note the corresponding octave is to be found according to the rules of the memory game. In addition, there are identical cards of half and whole rests. For the smallest bass-note learn-and-play-ers, there is an alternative "You may do it again" bonus card. The inventor of these cards, Joachim Goldmann, tested the game with his own students. Since it turned out that for the young beginner the pure note notation has an inhibiting effect on the game, the note names are marked with letters at the bottom left.
