Description
The 4 pieces "Alcazaba", "Boruch Ato Bo'ir", "Rebn's Tanz" and "Yoshke, Yoshke" in a version for double bass alone (see Mike Curtis: "Klezmer Duos" under "Violoncello and double bass"). The pieces live from the vitality of klezmer folklore and a variety of different playing techniques such as col legno battuta, sul ponticello, pitch bend etc, while always remaining easily playable on the double bass. A real enrichment for the solo literature of the advanced and fully trained double bass player.
