The violin part takes over the upper part of the original; in the lower part, the arranger has taken the liberty of transposing an octave upwards in places, which reduces the distance to the violin somewhat and prevents the part from becoming "grumpy". Nevertheless, there is little to play in the thumb position, so that the pieces should be manageable even for not so advanced bass players. The music itself, however, remains quite demanding.
